Dataports

Dataports are objects specifically designed for the purpose of importing and exporting external text files. Dataports for text files in standard format, such as .csv files, are quickly and easily created. Conversely, Dataports can be quite complex, manipulating, filtering, and otherwise processing the data. Dataports can be designed to include user involvement to specify filters or the external data file name and path. Or they can be set up to operate totally in the background with no direct user interaction.
