C. WorkItem Details

  1. The main purpose of a WorkItem today is to facilitate loose coupling by holding certain classes of objects in well-known locations so that other objects can find the resources that they need to do their jobs. To accomplish this, the WorkItem class contains a number of collections, as shown in Table 3-1. All of them are strongly typed except Items, which exists to hold anything not served by a strongly typed collection.
