The IQ Namespaces
The namespaces that qualify attachments to
<iq/> elements are many and
varied. After all, you could say that the raison d’etre of this
request/response mechanism is to exchange structured information—and
what better way to define that information than with namespaces?
This section looks briefly at each of the IQ namespaces in turn. Some of them will be covered in more detail in later chapters, as they will be used in examples that appear later in the book.
