PerlNET Status
The PerlNET component builder is one component of the ActiveState Perl Dev Kit (found at http://www.ActiveState.com/PDK).
PerlNET fully supports cross-language inheritance. Perl can be used for both the base class and the derived class. Windows Forms applications can be implemented completely in Perl.
PerlNET, together with “Perl for ASP.NET,” lets you write ASP.NET pages and Web services in Perl. For more information, see http://aspn.ActiveState.com/ASPN/Downloads/PerlASPX.
The “Visual Perl” plug-in provides integration with the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET IDE. It can be found at http://www.ActiveState.com/VisualPerl.
