EWS and Authored Spreadsheets
There is a good reason why the first EWS exercise only called GetApiVersion. Without explicitly providing increased permissions, clients can access only the GetApiVersion method in the EWS API. To gain extended access to the other methods, you need to configure the relevant permissions using the Shared Services Provider. We talk more about these security aspects in later chapters.
