Executes a stored procedure on a data source.

Attributes

procedure=" procedure_name "

The name of the stored procedure on the database server that you want to call. Required.

datasource=" datasource_name "

The data source that contains the stored procedure. Required.

blockfactor=" block_size "

The maximum number of rows to retrieve from the server at a time. Optional. The range is from 1 to 100. 1 is the default. Note that some drivers may reduce the block factor automatically.

connectstring=" connection_string "

Passes additional connection information to an ODBC data source that can’t be passed via the ColdFusion Administrator. connectstring can also override connection information set for a data source already registered in the ColdFusion Administrator. When making a dynamic data-source connection (when dbtype is Dynamic), connectstring specifies all the information required to connect to the data source. For specific connection-string options, you should consult the documentation for your particular database. New as of ColdFusion 5.0. This attribute is no longer supported in ColdFusion MX.

dbname=" database_name "

Specifies the database name. For the Sybase System 11 native driver and SQLOLEDB provider only. Optional. Overrides any value set for datasource. This attribute is no longer supported in ColdFusion MX.
