Used within a cfmail block to send file attachments and custom header information. Multiple cfmailparam tags may be nested within a cfmail block. Only one file attachment or custom header can be specified per cfmailparam tag.

Attributes

file=" filename "

The full path to the file you wish to attach to your email message. Multiple cfmailparam tags may be used to attach more than one file. Files are MIME encoded before they are sent. Cannot be used with any other attribute besides type. You should note that ColdFusion does not make a copy of any file attachments before sending. If you attach a file to a mail message, you must wait until after the message is sent before deleting the file. If ColdFusion tries to send a message with an attachment and it cannot find the attachment, an exception is raised, and the message is not sent. Required when attaching a file.

type="text|plain|html| mime_type "

MIME type of the file attachment. You can specify text (text/plain), plain (text/plain), html (text/html), or any valid MIME type you wish. Optional. The default is text/plain. This attribute is new in ColdFusion MX 6.1.

name=" name "

The name of the header entry to write. Multiple header entries may be written using a cfmailparam tag for each entry. Can be used only with the value attribute. Required when including custom header information.
