ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Tina Logan is the president of Tina Logan, Inc. (www.tinalogan.com). She has more than 22 years of combined experience as a trainer in corporate settings and as a coach for traders. For several years she has provided stock market training through private tutoring, books, e-books, and Internet sessions. Tina has mentored traders from across the United States and abroad. Her course attendees range from beginners who aspire to enter this challenging business, to more experienced traders who wish to improve their returns and fine-tune their chart analysis and trading skills.

Tina began trading by timing mutual funds in her retirement account before moving on to trading stocks. She left the corporate workplace in early 2000 in order to pursue her passion for trading, training, and continuous study and analysis of the stock market.

Tina was a contributing author to Stephen Bigalow's book, High Profit Candlestick Patterns (2005). She subsequently authored Getting Started in Candlestick Charting, published by John Wiley & Sons in 2008. She holds a bachelor of arts from the University of Nevada–Reno, where she majored in communications and minored in business administration.
