SUMMARY

During the process to develop a Compact 7 OS run-time image for a target device and download the image to the device, you need to establish connectivity between the development station and the intended target device.

With the target device properly configured with a Compact 7 bootloader and attached to the same LAN as the development station, you can establish connectivity between the development station and target device to download an OS run-time image to the device. With the KITL build option enabled, you can generate an OS run-time image with the necessary resources to support debugging from the development station, using remote tools.
