31.3. Summary

In this chapter you have seen how you can use the Device Security Manager to effectively manage the security settings on your device. With the ability to view and manage both the security configuration and the certificate stores, the DSM is a useful tool for profiling different devices to isolate behavior, and for testing your application on devices with a range of security settings.

You have also seen the Device Emulator Manager, which is used to connect, cradle, and administer the device emulators that are installed with Visual Studio 2008. As new versions of Windows Mobile become available, you can download and install new device emulators to help you build better, more reliable device applications.
