Team Edition for Database Professionals proves itself to be a much needed addition to the Team System family. In conjunction with Team Foundation Server, it provides all the tools you need to manage all the tasks necessary in the data development lifecycle.
You started out this chapter with a basic overview of Team Edition for Database Professionals, and why it is an important product. You then delved into some detailed examples of using the product, including how to import your database schema, make changes to it, deploy those changes, and implement unit testing.
You also discovered some nice new features, including schema compare, for comparing the schema of two different database, and data generation, for generating test data for your application. Finally, you covered how to create your own custom data generator to generate credit card numbers.
