As I put my tablet pen down and shut down my computer my cell phone buzzes again for the third time. It's another text message from my friend Pete wondering where I am. Seeing as he made these dinner plans for us two weeks ago, I really should be more punctual. I rush off and arrive at the restaurant but the only thing dancing in my head is the dialogue from the scene on my desk. The questions keep ringing through my ears.

Shouldn't the character be sad at this moment?Why am I cutting from a wide-angle shot to a close-up?Is it better to use a two-shot here?Does it make sense that she would slap the guy in the face at her work?
