Chapter 16. Implementing Sites with Multiple Languages and Devices
It may not seem obvious that the same chapter would discuss both multilingual sites and sites for mobile devices, but both of these scenarios use the same capability built into the Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 publishing system: site variations. This feature enables the management of parallel site hierarchies for Web Content Management (WCM), and movement of content among them. First the multilingual scenario is examined, which explains how this is achieved; then their application in mobile device scenarios is addressed.
