B.6. TurboGears
TurboGears (http://turbogears.org) is a Python framework that was built using some of the best-in-class web tools available around the time Rails was released. Essentially, there were individual Python tools that covered much of the Rails functionality, but which hadn't been combined into a single application stack. TurboGears is made up of separate components for the view template (Kid), the controller logic (CherryPy), the data layer (SQLObject), and a JavaScript library called MochiKit.
