Communication involves the transfer of information from one party to another and back again. Originally, communication was, in fact, graphics based. Cave drawings are a classic illustration of this. Later, language was developed and codified. Slowly, words and numbers began to replace images as a communications mechanism. But through it all, we still remain inherently graphic communicators and thinkers. Look into any board room or corporate meeting room.
