The Visio Smart Arrow Lab Exercise
Now, you have arrived at your first lab exercise. You are going to step through the creation of a Visio SmartShape symbol. This is no ordinary symbol. It is, in fact, the symbol that launched Visio and opened the world to this new graphics paradigm.
Here is a bit of history and observation. Assume that you are creating a presentation for your corporate officers. This is a very important presentation. The outcome of this presentation may well determine whether your next development project is funded. Keep in mind that two of the executives on the review panel graduated from the Acme Institute of Fine Arts and are very picky about the graphics in presentations.
