The Connection Points Section of the ShapeSheet

When you glue a 1D shape such as a dynamic connector to a 2D SmartShape symbol such as a Flowchart symbol, you normally glue the endpoint of the 1D to a small blue X on the 2D SmartShape symbol. These small blue Xs, are, in fact, the visual indicators of connection points. Each time glue is made, a connection point (if it does not already exist) is created by Visio. These are indicated in the Connection Points section of the ShapeSheet.
