The Contents of a Typical Visio Solution

Well, with all this said about the ShapeSheet and Automation development environments, what are the contents of a typical Visio solution? A Visio solution typically contains most, if not all, of the following items, shown in Figure 1.6:

  • Stencils of master SmartShape symbols

  • Templates to set the user interface and environment, as well as open the required stencils

  • Add-ons and/or macros written with an Automaton controller

  • Help

  • Documentation

  • Training
