This chapter covers some best practices that we have developed and implemented as part of various cutting-edge BizTalk projects. There is often more than one way of solving a problem using the tools available, and sometimes you only find the right way after learning the hard way the first time around.

Each of the areas that we cover in this chapter has been key to developing these solutions. They have either greatly simplified a solution, significantly improved performance, or resolved a complicated design goal previously deemed impossible or unworkable.
