Another fortunate side effect of adding history support to your pages is that it enables users to bookmark the page at a particular state and return to it later. For example, in the album search application, after performing a search for "blue," the user may bookmark the page or copy and paste the URL to share with others. Since the search term is encoded on the URL, the search is automatically restored to "blue" when the user returns.
