The Production Phase

Once you are past the planning stages of concept and pre-pro, you’re ready to put those plans into action by slicing into the meat of the production. If your concept and pre-pro were successful, the transition into the production stage should be a smooth rollover from the prototype into the full game. The actual experience of going through all of production can feel like just as much of a journey as it is a job. Developer and publisher alike, you’re all in it together and the producers on both sides have the most pressure to make the game a success.
