Proof of Concepts, Target Renders, and Prototypes

There are multiple techniques for illustrating that the team’s ideas are right for the game and fully achievable. Some companies use only one, or two of these strategies, while others may take advantage of all three; the proof-of-concept, target render, and prototypes. When hearing these stated together, they may sound as though they have the same meaning, and the end goals of each are indeed quite similar, plus they can work hand in hand, but they each facilitate a different process, and should be defined as such to avoid confusion.
