The Milestone Schedule

Don’t mistake your master schedule for your milestone schedule. The milestone schedule is just one segment of the overall schedule, but it is the most important to production, listing out and defining the work that is being accomplished as physical deliverables. Each deliverable, typically due once a month, represents the work that each team member has made in direct relation to the man-month budget.

The milestone schedule calls out each point in the dev cycle that signifies accomplishments and progression.
