Casting

Casting was everything. I felt that with a good script and a good cast, everything else would fall into place. Casting took a really long time. I got a lot of help from a lot of friends who I’ve made over the years in the advertising business. The person who took the longest to cast was the lead actor Isaiah Whitlock, who played Bob, the older barber, because I was very particular on how I wanted him to look and how I wanted him to sound.
