About the Authors
Ira Greenberg directs the Center of Creative Computation and is Associate Professor of Computer Science at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. He is the author of the first major reference on the Processing language, Processing: Creative Coding and Computational Art and also wrote The Essential Guide to Processing for Flash Developers, both by friends of ED. A formally trained painter (BFA, Cornell University, MFA, University of Pennsylvania) turned computational autodidact; Ira has spent the past 20+ years searching for ways to make code drip.
