5.9. Bibliographic Notes

Measurements and estimates continue to improve as we use them; the more we use them, the better we become at it. That is the way I differentiate a guess versus a gamble. While both are based on probabilities, in the case of an educated guess you have an opportunity to practice and improve your estimates as you build experience. This can ultimately benefit you by reducing the risks in your projects. In the case of gambling, the more experienced you are, the more you are at risk!!
