Terms to Know
Before we begin, here
are a few terms that are helpful for you to know:
column dimension
in the TABULATE procedure,
the combination of variables, variable values, and statistics that
determine the number and arrangement of columns in the table. This
is also known as the column definition.
The variables that make up the column dimension are column
variables.
row dimension
in the TABULATE procedure,
the combination of variables, variable values, and statistics that
determine the number and arrangement of rows in the table. This is
also known as the row definition. The variables
that make up the row dimension are row variables.
