Overview

If you are interested in seeing how the observations in a data set are distributed between class variables, then PCTN is the statistic for you. But what if you want to see how the total value of an analysis variable is distributed between the cells of a table?
For example, if you are building a table showing mean income by occupation and education, you might want to know how the total sum of income in the data set is distributed between the values of occupation and education.
