4 THE IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT
This chapter is about the implementation project, its phases and staging. It is important to remember that when I say ‘implementation’ I do not mean you are starting from scratch. Handling problems is already happening in your organisation in some form and it might be good in some areas or quite ordinary overall. It might not have the title ‘problem management’ or be a separately identified activity or process. As long as you remember that your project involves at least some element of replacing what is already there, you can manage one source of unexpected resistance to change.
