10.3. The Last Word

In this chapter, you explored how the WPF resource system lets you reuse the same objects in different parts of your application. You saw how to declare resources in code and markup, how to draw on system resources, and how to share resources between applications with class library assemblies.

You're not done looking at resources just yet. One of the most practical uses of object resources is to store styles—collections of property settings that you can apply to multiple elements. In the next chapter, you'll learn how to define styles, store them as resources, and reuse themeffortlessly.
