Working with App Tiles
In Chapter 4, I showed you how to set the image that an app uses for its tile on the Windows Start screen. This is the basic action for tiles, but apps can go a lot further and create live tiles, which present useful information via the Start screen, even when the app isn’t running. In this section, I’ll show you how to create a live tile and the different ways that you can update it from your app.
