Using Master Faders

There’s one more track type left for us to explore: the Master Fader. Although it looks similar to an Audio or Aux track, its function is substantially different from anything you’ve seen up to this point. A Master Fader is a way to control output, and it is commonly used to control the output of an interface channel (although it can also be used to control the output of buses in more complex mix situations). With this simple but powerful track, you can control the entire level of your session.
