A powerful (but sometimes underused) feature of Pro Tools is its ability to recall specific window arrangements. With window configurations, you can quickly change which windows are displayed, as well as their sizes and positions. The process is as simple as it is useful:
Arrange your windows in any way that suits your workflow. In this case, I’ve chosen a simple arrangement of both Edit and Mix windows.
Capture this arrangement of windows. From the Window menu, choose Configurations ...
