7. Recording MIDI
To record a MIDI performance, you need to establish communication with your external MIDI gear, configure MIDI inputs and outputs, and set options for recording.
As with audio recording, you may want to record live MIDI input with a click track so that recorded MIDI data aligns with bar and beat boundaries, making it easier to edit and arrange.
