6. Recording Audio

Before you start recording, there are a few things you need to do, such as connecting audio sources, configuring inputs in Pro Tools, and setting levels.

If you’re recording music, you may also want to generate a click track, set the session meter and tempo, and configure monitoring so that you can follow the click and do overdubs later.
