In this exercise tutorial, you will begin editing the audio files that you previously imported using the memory locations you created in Exercise 5.

Getting Started

You will start by opening the Pro Tools session you created in Exercise 5. If that session is not available, use the Ex05.ptxt session template in the Completed Exercises folder on the DVD. After saving the session for this exercise, you will configure the session for the editing work you will be doing.

To create the session:

1. Launch Pro Tools and open the session you created in Exercise 5.

2. Choose FILE > SAVE AS and name your session Exercise6-YourName.
