Creating and Customizing Fades

Fade-ins and fade-outs are used to gradually transition into or out of a clip. Additionally, you can create crossfades between clips to make a smooth transition from one clip into another. Of course, this is nothing new in the world of DAWs, but Pro Tools makes fades easy to create and tweak. You can even use the Smart Tool to create them!
