Now that you’re comfortable with these more flexible ways of zooming, let’s take a look at some different ways of making selections.
Setting Things Up
For this section, go to Memory Location #3–Selections.
In Chapter 3, “Getting Started with Audio,” you learned that the boundaries of a selected area are represented in the ruler area (above the tracks) by a down arrow and an up arrow, representing selection start and end points, respectively. Using the arrow keys on your computer’s keyboard is an easy way to make a selection as your session plays.
