Punching In and Punching Out

Suppose you recorded a perfect take, except for just one problem section. It’s something that happens in recording sessions again and again. Don’t worry—with Pro Tools, you can specify a section of your track and redo it, a technique commonly called punching in. Remember, too, that Pro Tools generally operates nondestructively, so you don’t have to worry about losing any of your original take!
