CLR Integration Programming

One of the most prominent enhancements to SQL Server 2005 was the introduction of the integrated SQL Common Language Runtime, named SQL CLR at that time. What is now called CLR integration is an SQL Server–specific version of the .NET Common Language Runtime, which allows you to run .NET-managed code in the database.
