Although graphics and printing seem to be a world apart, the behind-the-scenes bits that make it work have a lot in common. In both cases, Silverlight needs a way to send text, shapes, and elements to another device—whether it's a computer monitor (through the display driver) or a printer (through the printer driver).

Silverlight's printing support is straightforward and somewhat limited.
