Summary
In this chapter, we covered most of the applications part of the Microsoft Office 2010 suite. I showed you how these applications integrate with SharePoint 2010. We covered the basics of exporting and importing data, the commonalities in the Backstage area, live coauthoring, and the Document Information Panel.
As we progressed through the chapter, we looked at each application in turn and I demonstrated some of the specific integration features with SharePoint 2010.
We took a quick tour of InfoPath 2010—the filler and designer applications. You saw how to customize SharePoint 2010 list forms and the Document Information Panel.
