SharePoint 2010 includes some great new BI features, as follows:
- PerformancePoint Services and the Dashboard DesignerPPS is about providing data analysts and business experts with dashboards of real-time data, hosted within pages of SharePoint 2010. With PPS and Business Connectivity Services, users can hook up their OLAP cube and OLTP table data to dashboards that allow users to drill down into data and explore axes. The Dashboard Designer is a stand-alone application that installs into Windows and provides the mechanism of implementing rich dashboard technology, which SharePoint can then host for data reviewers.
