Hybrid Apps
Chapter 7 looks at hybrid apps, which are web apps accessed through a browser window embedded in a native app. But unlike web apps, hybrid apps can be uploaded and distributed through the App Store and thus provide more visibility. To develop hybrid apps you only need a basic knowledge of the Xcode environment.
