Using the Couchbase Hadoop Connector
Apache Sqoop is a tool designed for transferring bulk data between Hadoop and a structured data store. The Couchbase Hadoop Connector is designed for using Sqoop with Couchbase Server. With the Couchbase Hadoop Connector bulk data may be transferred between Hadoop ecosystem-HDFS or Hive, and Couchbase data store. Typically, Hadoop is used for performing data analytics on the data stored in Couchbase Server.
