Summary

We've now completed the round-trip of data—with data exposed by the server (covered in Chapter 4), consumed by the Silverlight client (covered in Chapter 5), displayed in a list (covered in Chapter 6), and modified with the changes submitted back to the server (covered in this chapter). We now have essentially developed an end-to-end Silverlight application. We will build on this core functionality and add supporting features in the upcoming chapters, including securing our application and styling it to make it more presentable.
