Suppression

Suppression merely refers to either removing any sensitive data from the database or preventing a user from accessing any sensitive data. When removing sensitive data, be sure to not only remove identifying data such as names and IDs, but to remove data that might permit the deduction of someone's identity due to the uniqueness of a record. One test you might want to perform is to ensure that for every combination of each categorical attribute, a required minimum number of records are returned.
