Converting to a CNC Machine

If you've got your 3D printer working properly, you might be interested to know that it can be converted from printing plastic (using the Extruder) to cutting, drilling, or milling – the same functionality provided by a standard CNC machine. You will be limited to using a handheld rotary tool, such as a Dremel 200 or 300 series or their newest cordless versions (www.dremel.com), but for cutting, drilling, and milling soft metals, wood, and plastic, you'll find your 3D printer can easily serve as a mini-CNC machine.
