Abstract

Most common metal-oxide semiconductors featuring chemo-resistive effect, such as SnO2, TiO2, WO3 and ZnO, have been examined as functional materials for gas sensors via thick-film technology. Analysis of the mainly accepted electrical transport models through polycrystalline semiconductors has been carried out and compared to experimental evidence.
