Chapter 6. Resizing and Sharpening Your Images

A perfect photo is a rare thing—especially straight out of the camera. Maybe the size isn’t exactly as you’d like, or that branch protruding awkwardly into the frame needs to be cropped out, or the details lack sharpness. In Chapter 5, you learned some editing techniques that will improve your prints, but they won’t do the whole job. You still need to properly resize and then sharpen your image.

Resizing and sharpening have a major impact on the final quality of your prints.
